When we are feeling overwhelmed, it can be challenging to know what to do to help return to how you usually feel.
It’s hard to think or know what is a reasonable action, and that’s as an adult!
So I made this free resource “check-in” list. If your family uses the 4 emotional regulation zones, your student will hopefully gain use of this “yellow check in” card.
They can either follow the check in actions themselves and use the poster as a reminder, or it can be printed as a personal card that they can hand over to an adult that can support them.
I hope you can find use for this resource! I believe giving the tools to students will only make them more independent and gift them the skills they need to succeed.
