Our Free Resource Library is a growing collection of visual tools made to support neurodivergent learning, emotional regulation, and everyday life.
At Helping Hands Creations, we are ensuring that waiting times and paywalls don’t stop families from getting the help they need now.
As an organization built “By Us, For Us,” we understand firsthand the everyday struggles of raising neurodivergent children and living as neurodivergent adults.
We are so grateful for Sam, our writer, whose background in special education allows her to transform our shared, real-life challenges into accessible, evidence-based tools for her family and our entire community.
Because our hearts always pulled us toward supporting our community.
Although we operate as a business, Sam’s background in the nonprofit sector influences everything we do.
After years of supporting neurodivergent families locally, she began designing materials to gift directly to families—and when she met Gigi, that vision truly came to life.
As we research, plan, and develop our premium physical resources, we wanted to share our digital designs and prototypes with you right now.
Ultimately, we are building this free library because we are determined to be a trusted, reliable, and safe space for the neurodivergent community.
Yes, all of our resources are firmly rooted in proven, evidence-based methods.
Whether we are drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), sensory integration strategies, or foundational childhood development, we craft every single tool with intentional care and diligence.
But clinical theory is only part of the equation. What truly makes our resources unique is the lived experience behind them.
The core of our materials comes from Sam’s lived experiences as a neurodivergent adult and parent to neurodivergent children, paired with her professional background as a certified special education teacher and autism curriculum developer.
It is this real-life, everyday experience that transforms our tools having neurodivergent driven designs.
We also know the best ideas come from our community, so if you have a life experience or a resource idea you would like to share, please reach out through our Suggestion Box!
The resources are developed by Sam Sandate White and Gigi Dean.
Sam’s background is in special education. She has worked as both as a certified teacher and a curriculum writer. Her bachelor’s degree is in Childhood Development from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi.
Gigi’s background comes from her many years as a professional graphic designer and artist. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Art & Tech and an associate’s degree in Digital Design & Graphics, with her focus being on web design and computer animation. Gigi’s passion is visual communication through her hand-drawn art, animation, and hand-coded websites.
With Gigi’s support, Sam is developing tools that are not only useful for neurodivergent learners, but are designed with their specific needs in mind.
To support us, please use our free resources, leave your feedback in the comments, share our resources with others, and send us suggestions! We want to grow this library until the whole neurodivergent community knows about it.
This free resource library will stay available as long as Helping Hands Creations is going strong.

Yes. Our resources are for anyone that may find them useful.
If you ever see someone trying to charge for one of our free resources, please contact us so we can correct the situation.
Think of our resources as tools.
Anyone can learn how to use a hammer at home, but a professional construction worker has the training and experience to do more complicated jobs with that same hammer.
Our resources do not replace the skill and care of trained professionals. But just like it wouldn’t help a homeowner to avoid using a hammer, our tools are here to support you in your everyday life and help you along your journey.
