The Social Essentials: Positive Symbols

Social essentials positive symbols

Hello! So I am going to be posting some older works that I made back when I tried starting my own business.

The business sadly didn’t survive, but I have all the scrapped works still and am just posting them online.

These are more “professional” lesson plans. If people happen to like them, I can make matching powerpoints for them.

The Social Essentials was going to be a group/art based program to teach things like: stress management, navigating social dynamics with peers, time management, and more!

LESSON ONE: POSITIVE SYMBOLS

The first lesson is about symbols in our daily lives. One reoccurring theme I saw in many autistic/ADHD/ND kids was holding onto “negative” things like: ugly messages, ex girlfriend/boyfriend items, obsessing over posts/texts online etc.

So the whole lesson is discussing while holding on to these things is unhealthy and how to do healthy alternatives: save an “I love you” text from parents, throwing out ex’s things and making something to replace it with friends, deleting/blocking/unfollowing upsetting things online.

If this lesson interests you, check it out!

Thank you
