Piece by Peace, Hand in Hand: Talking Autism Together, Interview Part 1

Sam recently sat down with Dustin Cronan of Creating Connections: Piece by Piece for a heartfelt interview on autism. Together, they highlighted the importance of empathy, practical accommodations, and education—showing that when autistic voices are heard, communities grow more inclusive, supportive, and kind.

Dustin Cronan is the founder of Creating Connections: Piece by Peace—a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of people with autism. We generate awareness, provide education, drive advocacy, and forge inclusion.

Sam Sandate White is a former-certified special education teacher. But more importantly, she is autistic and has ADHD. She is married to a fellow autistic and ADHD partner and has neurodivergent children. She has developed and shared her resources for years with her communities.
